Biodynamic Massage
Marie draws on elements from a diverse wealth of teachings, predominantly her training in Biodynamic Massage and Craniosacral but also including her foundational training in Swedish Massage, Myofascial Release, and Shiatsu as well as a rich variety of conscious movement and embodiment practices. Through her years of practice she has developed her own style and way of connecting to the tissues. It is a conversation and an invitation to return to the waterbody and allow that fluidity to come forth in expression. We do not force or fix anything, but gently invite those places that are hardened, that hurt, that are cut off from being felt, back in, with soft fluid simplicity.
Marie offers sessions in White Salmon and Hood River.
Hospice Home Visit
provides on-site massage to the medically fragile home-bound patient and those nearing the end of life. These treatments focus on calming the central nervous system, decreasing feelings of anxiety and pain and bringing a sense of ease and harmony to both the home bound client and their caregivers. Typically treatments will consist of hand, foot and head massage, with gentle holds along the clothed body. They are typically performed with the client remaining in their own bed or chair. Marie also works with Providence Hospice of the Gorge providing these sessions for their patients.
"I’ve been looking for a practitioner that has a knowledge base of the body/mind, the subtle and energetic systems and can listen to and respond to the needs of my body. I’ve been in this field for decades so yes, I am particular about who I work with. Marie’s gentle way of being combined with her skill set and intuitive knowing sets her apart from the many practitioners out there. I highly recommend her." -SS
